Like chardonnay, pinot noir is a signature variety for the region. It has achieved more success in the Yarra Valley than anywhere else in Australia. Our pinots are treated to pre and post-maceration. They tend to be dry and quite perfumed with soft tannins. Characters of deep, intense, dark cherry and ripe strawberry with a touch of spice. Subtle, smooth and persistant.
