Moderate winter and spring rains allowed the vines to get off to a good start in spring and ensured good flowering and set. This was followed by dry warm weather over summer during shoot and berry development creating balanced vines and canopies with little to no disease. A cool end to autumn allowed the fruit to reach full ripeness, excellent colour and flavour, with varietal expression, concentration and structure.
