Medium to full red-purple; ultra-ripe, rich black cherry, plum and prune aromas flow into voluptuous, mouth-coating fruit on the palate which is typically very, very ripe, but which is not overly extractive or tannic; fine oak sits in the background. Made in the take it or leave it hallmark style of Doug Bowen. A single vineyard wine from hand-pruned, 28-year-old vines.
